Scented candles and aromatherapy

Filed under: Candles and Aromatherapy — Ann Johnson @ 8:44 am

Scented candles and aromatherapy go together perfectly. Whether you
want to pursue traditional aromatherapy treatments and want something
to complement you sessions, or whether you hope to find something more
practical to replace aromatherapy treatments – which can take a lot of
money and time – candles are a great option. Highly scented candles
allow you to breathe in the fragrances that have been proven to have a
beneficial effect on your body – without you having to leave your
home. Scented candles also offer additional advantages:

1) Scented candles can be less expensive than other aromatherapy
treatments. Many aromatherapy treatments cost more than a dollar a
minute, which can quickly add up. In addition, you need to travel to
aromatherapy treatments and spend time at the appointments. This can
also add up. Most health care insurance plans do not cover
aromatherapy treatments in part or in whole, so these costs will be
coming from your own pocket. In many cases, patients do not seek
aromatherapy treatments because of the high costs associated with
these sessions. Scented candles, on the other hand, even very fragrant
luxury ones, can cost very little by comparison. Even the most
expensive high-quality candles cost only pennies – or less – per
minute.

2) Scented candles allow you to enjoy aromatherapy treatments for
longer. Many aromatherapy treatments are limited by the length of your
appointment. With scented candles, though, you can enjoy the
fragrances that have been proven to help your ailment for many hours,
which allows you to extend the benefits. You can have scented candles
burning for many hours, and you can even combine various fragrances
for multiple benefits.

3) Scented candles allow you to complement your aromatherapy
treatments. These products are safe to use, even if you are already
getting traditional treatment or aromatherapy treatments for your
condition. In fact, scented candles can actually complement and
enhance the treatments you are getting, so you have nothing to lose.

4) Scented candles permit you to multi-task. You can get aromatherapy
benefits from scented candles while you work or go about your daily
tasks. Even the busiest person can enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy
with scented candles. If you have been avoiding aromatherapy
treatments because of your hectic schedule, scented candles allow you
to avoid any such excuses.

5) Scented candles are more portable than most aromatherapy
treatments. You can use them at work, home, at your vacation home or
in a hotel room. Wherever you are, you can enjoy the benefits of
aromatherapy. If you live in a city or town where there are few
facilities or professionals offering aromatherapy treatments, you can
still get the health benefits of aromatherapy in the comfort of your
own home.

If you want aromatherapy treatments, scented candles are a great
option. They allow you to complement aromatherapy treatments or to
replace aromatherapy treatments. They are affordable and flexible
enough for daily use and are completely safe. You have nothing to use
by trying out scented candles – and wellbeing to gain.
